Missouri State

Suzie Atkinson joined the staff as a full-time Assistant Athletic Trainer at Missouri State University in 2012 following a two-year internship with the department. She also completed her undergraduate education in Missouri State’s Athletic Training Education Program.

Atkinson is currently responsible for the athletic health care of the men’s and women’s golf teams, the women’s wennis team, the spirit squads, as well as oversight of the women’s track & field and cross country teams. She graduated with a M.S. in Administrative Studies - Sports Management from Missouri State University in December ‘17. She is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association and the Missouri Athletic Trainers Association.

Atkinson and her husband Blake have three children, Quinn, Drake and Mia.
