Missouri State

Shannon Derricks was hired as an assistant athletic trainer in 1995 and named as assistant director of Athletic Medical and Rehabilitation in 2017. She is responsible for the health care of the Missouri State University volleyball (since 1996) and MSU men's and women's swimming and diving teams. She is also the collegiate clinical site coordinator for the Athletic Training Educational Program.

Derricks obtained her undergraduate degree in exercise physiology and athletic training from West Virginia University and her Master's of Science in Education from Northwest Missouri State.

She is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association and the Missouri Athletic Trainers Association. She has previously served two years as the public relations officer for the Missouri Athletic Trainers Association.
