TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The Tallahassee Quarterback Club (TQC) Foundation, Inc., the Florida-based creator and sponsor of the prestigious Biletnikoff Award, has announced its fourth in-season additions to the Biletnikoff Award Watch List, which includes Missouri State wide receiver Isaiah Myers (5th Yr., Cincinnati, Ohio).
The Biletnikoff Award annually recognizes the college football season's outstanding FBS pass receiver, regardless of position.
Through eight games, Myers has 41 receptions for 873 yards and 8 touchdowns for the Bears in addition to 903 all-purpose yards and 9 total scores (54 points) on the campaign. He is on pace to become just the second Missouri State player to eclipse 1,000 receiving yards in a game.
As of Oct. 28, he leads Conference USA in receiving yards, yards per game (109.1), receiving touchdowns and total touchdowns, while ranking second in all-purpose yards per game (112.88) and total points scored, third in yards per reception (21.29), and fifth in receptions per game (5.13).
Among all FBS wide receivers, he ranks in the top 20 nationally in receiving yards (5th), receiving touchdowns (6th), receiving yards per game (7th), yards per reception (7th) and total touchdowns (20th). He leads the nation in total plays of 20 or more yards (19) and 30 or more yards (13), while his 242 receiving yards at Delaware on Oct. 20 was the most in a single-game by any FBS player this season.
With the addition of Myers and five others on Wednesday, the Biletnikoff Award Watch List for this season now includes 70 players.
The Biletnikoff Award's semifinalists, three finalists, and award recipient are selected by the highly distinguished Biletnikoff Award National Selection Committee, a group of 625 prominent college football journalists, commentators, announcers, Biletnikoff Award winners, and other former receivers. Foundation trustees do not vote and have never voted.Â
