The Missouri State women's cross country team will compete at the Chile Pepper Festival in Fayetteville, Ark. on Saturday, Oct. 13. Missouri State will run the 6K race, which begins at 10:30 a.m.

The event will feature 89 university and college teams, and is Missouri State's last meet before the Missouri Valley Conference Championships in Normal, Ill. on Oct. 27.

The Bears will be represented at the Chile Pepper Festival by senior Emily Beaver; juniors Erin Edwards, Lisa Imgrund and Nicole Thate; and freshmen Taeler Marshall, Tenaly Smith and Kathleen Norman.
