Outdoor: Earned a fourth-place finish at the MVC Championships in the 1,500m run in 4:29.21 ... Won her heat and ran a personal best 2:10.43 in the 800m prelims at the MVC Championships ... Finished eighth in the MVC Championships 800m run finals in 2:17.24 ... Took fourth place in the MVC Championships 1,500m run with a time of 4:29.21 ... Won the SIUE Invitational with a 18:29.75 ... Set a personal best in the 5K with a 17:49.43 time at the Chile Pepper Festival ... Finished 16th overall and was the Bears' No. 3 runner at the MVC Championships, running 18:16.04 ... Set her 6K personal best at the NCAA Midwest Regional when she ran 21:36.84.

Indoor: At the Indiana Relays, Beaver had her season-best 10:23.98 in the 3,000m ... Set a new personal best 5:04.12 in the indoor mile on Feb. 13 at the Iowa State Classic ... At the MVC indoor championships, Beaver ran a 18:35.43 in the 5,000m, a personal best ... At the MVC Championships she ran herself into MSU's all-time top-five in the 5,000m (17:12.51) and the 10,000m (36:12.12) ... Finished fifth in The Valley in both races.

Outdoor: Did not compete for the Bears during the outdoor season.

2009 Cross Country
Ran a 22:19.10 at the Chile Pepper Festival in the 6K race ... Finished 25th at the MVC Championship, finishing at 19:59.00 ... Competed at the Midwest Regional, placing 81st with a time of 22:58.20.

Background: Beaver won three-straight Missouri Class 1A state cross country championships ... She is one of only three high school runners in state history to win three state cross country titles ... Only Jamie Vest (MSU '08) had won more state cross country titles than Beaver ... In track competition at the 2A level, she had top state championship finishes of fourth in the 1,600-meters (2008), seventh in the 800-meters (2008), sixth in the 3,200-meters (2007), second in the 4x800m relay (2006) and third in the 4x400m relay (2008).
