Missouri State Big Bear Invitational on Saturday Cancelled

The Missouri State track and field team announced today that this weekend’s scheduled Big Bear Invitational has been cancelled.  Saturday’s meet was cancelled due to scheduling conflicts that prohibited enough teams to attend to qualify the meet as an official Division I meet.

The Bears, who competed in a weather-shortened meet in Columbia, Mo., on Friday, will instead head to Cape Girardeau to take part in the Joey Haines Invitational.  Competition at SEMO will begin at 3:30 on Friday and at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.  The Bears began the outdoor season recording 11 top-10 finishes at the Missouri Relays.
