Track and Field Bears Conclude Day One of Drake Relays, Edwards Writes Name in MSU History

DES MOINES, IOWA - The Missouri State track squad finished up events Thursday (April 26) night at the Drake Relays. Erin Edwards was the Bears' lone competitor for the day in Des Moines, Iowa. Edwards finished eighth in the 10,000-meter run invitational in a time of 35:56.97, a personal best. With her performance in the event, Edwards is now fifth on the Missouri State all-time top performers list and third on the current Valley’s top performers list. The Bears will continue competition tomorrow with events beginning at 8 a.m. on Friday (April 27).
