In the 60-meter dash, freshman Shavonne Husbands continued to cement her place as one of Missouri State’s most impressive rookies. The native of St. Philip, Barbados crossed the finish line of the 60-meter prelims in 7.72 seconds, which matched her previous best time from Jan. 18, 2013.

Meanwhile, junior Pernell Joseph qualified for the semifinal round of the 60 meters and equaled her personal best time of 7.51 seconds.
