At Missouri State: Genna Williams enters her final season with the Bears looking to build on solid performances in her first two years after transferring from Lindenwood University.

2006: Williams placed fifth (7.63) in the 60-meter dash at the Kansas Intivational....At MVC Indoor Championships, she placed fourth in the 200-meter dash posting a time of 24.99....During the outdoor season, Williams ran with the relays taking second place in the 4x100-meter relay at the Mississippi State Intivational with a time of 46.55 and secondplace at the Kansas Relays in the 4x200-meter relay with a time of 38.78.

2005: Williams was a member of the 1,600m relay team that placed second at the MVC Indoor Championships, earning her all-conference honors....She received All-MVC honors during the outdoor season as a member of the second-place 400m relay team....She finished fourth at the MVC Indoor Championships in the 60m dash, running the fastest time of the season on the team....Williams ran the fastest times on the team in the 100m and 200m dashes during the outdoor season, in times of 11.57 and 23.87, respectively....She placed first in the 100m dash at five meets, and finished second in the event at the Drake Relays.

Background: Williams came to Missouri State after winning NAIA national titles in the 100m, 200m and 4x100m relay while at Lindenwood University....She placed in the top four of seven events at the 2004 NAIA national meet....As a freshman in 2003, Williams was the NAIA national runner-up to fellow Missouri State transfer Danielle Norville in the 200m and she finished third in the 100m that same year.

Personal: Born November 3, 1984, in Bridgetown, Barbados....Daughter of Lionel and Cheryl Williams.
