At Missouri State: Shantel Llewellyn is the Bears' top returning sprinter as an NCAA national qualifier.
Indoor: Did not compete for the Bears during the indoor season.
Outdoor: Took home third and fourth at the Tom Botts Invitational in the 100m (12.66) and 4x4 relay (3:54.76), respectively....Was a member of the 4x1 squad that took home third at the Kansa Relays with a time of 46.59....Placed second in the 100m at the Arkansas Twilight with a time of 11.93w....Ran a personal best in both the 100m and 200m at the MVC Outdoor Championships with times of 11.63w and 23.91w, both performances landed her second place finishes....Was also a member of the 4x1 relay team that took home second at the conference championships with a time of 46.37 and the 4x4 relay team that took home sixth with a time of 3:50.10....Qualified for the NCAA Division I West Preliminary in both the 100m and 200m.
Indoor: At the Eastern Illinois Mega Meet, was a member of the first place 4x400-meter relay team, and individually took home second in the 200-meter dash with a personal best 25.39....Finished seventh in the 4x400-meter relay at the Missouri Valley Conference Indoor Championships....Placed second in the 100-meter dash and third in the 4x100-meter relay at the Razorback Spring Invitational....Helped her 4x400 meter relay team finish second at the Joey Haines Invitational.
Outdoor: Placed second in the 4x400-meter relay while competing at the Redbird Spring Invitational.... Set a personal best in the 100-meter dash (12.08) in the prelims of the MVC Outdoor Championships before finishing fifth in the final....Won the 100-meter dash at the Redbird Spring Invitational (12.20)....Also in the 4x400-meter relay, helped her team finish fifth in the Missouri Valley Conference Outdoor Championships.
Indoor: Finished second in 60-meter dash at the Central Missouri Classic, setting a career best of 7.74....Matched her career best at the MVC Indoor Championships when she placed sixth in the 60-meter dash (7.74)....Ran with the 4x100 relay team that placed third at the Joey Haines Invitational.
Outdoor: Placed third in the 100-meter dash at the Sun Angel Classic....At the Sun Angel Classic she ran with the first-place 4x100-meter relay team....Placed second with the distance medley relay team at the same meet....Finished third in the 200-meter dash at the SIU Edwardsville Twilight....Ran with the second-place 4x100-meter relay team in the SIU Edwardsville Twilight....Finished fourth in the Missouri Valley Conference Outdoor Championship in the 100-meter dash with a personal best of 12.10....Also ran with the 4x100-meter relay team to place fourth.
Background: Shantel Llewellyn came to Missouri State from Mid-American Nazarene University in Olathe, Kan....At MNU, Llewellyn had bests in the 100-meter and the 200-meter....After winning the Ontario Federation of School Athletic Association's Central Regional in the 100- and 200-meter, along with a third-place showing in the 400-meter, Llewellyn qualified for the OFSAA Championships, where she placed eighth in the 100-meter and second in the 200-meter.
