Missouri State Career Bests
At Missouri State: Kara-Aretha Graham will continue to help lead the Missouri State sprint group. 2011 Track: Indoor: Ran the 60m in a personal best time of 8.22 at the Indiana University Relays.... Recorded a personal best at the Tyson Invitational with a time of 26.06 in the 200m....Was a member of the 4x4 relay squad that took seventh in the Missouri Valley Conference Championships (4:00.85). Outdoor: Placed fourth in the 4x4 at the Tom Botts Invitational with a time of 3:54.76, also took fifth in the 4x1(48.24). Background: Graham was a three-year letterwinner at Iowa....In 2010, Graham was a member of Iowa's 4x100-meter relay team that was NCAA Regional Qualifiers with a time of 45.81....That team also finished fifth at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships....In '09, her 400-meter relay team finished third in the conference....Her 800-meter relay team from that season was the sixth-fastest in school history....Was also an NCAA Regional Qualifier in 2008 with a 4x400-meter relay team....Also competed in the 200- and 400-meter dashes....In high school at Forest Girls School, she was a member of the 2004 national champion team at English schools (Essex)....Was also a 2006 national relay champion....Graduated with school records in the 100- and 200-meter dashes, as well as the long jump....A seven-time district champion from 2000-2004....Voted team captain from 2002-04....Also played field hockey in high school. Personal: Kara-Aretha Graham was born October 13, 1987, in London, England....Daughter of Carl and Beverley Graham....Plans to major in sociology. |
