At Missouri State: Katelynn Geier returns to Missouri State for her sophomore season, hoping to add needed depth to the throws group. 2011 Track: Saw limited time during the 2011 season. 2010 Track: Did not compete during her freshman season. Background: Geier is joining the Bears after lettering two years at Lindbergh High School in St. Louis....Competed in both shot put and discus....In her senior season, she finished second in her conference in shot put and fifth in discus....Competing in the district meet that season, she finished second in shot put and sixth in discus. Personal: Katelynn Marie Geier was born November 17, 1989, in St. Louis, Mo....Daughter of Charles and Anne Geier....Her father, Charles, threw javelin and discus at Southeast Missouri State....Has four siblings: Lindsey, Chris, Cody and Laurie....Majoring in physical education. |
