SPRINGFIELD - The Missouri State women's tennis schedule is set for the 2014-15 campaign head coach Mallory Weber announced Monday, Aug. 19. The slate includes four tournament events in the fall and 20 regular-season matches during the spring, before the Missouri Valley Conference tournament starts in late April.

Missouri State's fall tournament schedule includes four events that range from September to November. The Bears begin their slate in town at the Drury Fall Tournament in Springfield from Sept. 13-14, before heading to the MFC Individual Conference Tournament in Des Moines, Iowa, from Oct. 3-5. The fall docket concludes with the ITA Regional Championships in Stillwater, Okla., from Oct. 16-20 and the Arkansas Fall Invitational from Nov. 7-9 in Jonesboro, Ark.

The spring schedule is highlighted by four contests at Cooper Tennis Complex in Springfield, with seven matches against MVC foes and a clash with former rival Creighton.

The Bears commence the spring slate on Feb. 1 when they travel to Edwardsville, Ill., for a match at Southern Illinois-Edwardsville. Less than a week later on Feb. 7, the squad will challenge in-state rival Missouri in Columbia and will also take on IUPUI in a neutral match on Feb. 8 in Columbia.

A contest at Arkansas State on Feb. 13 begins a busy portion of the month for the Bears, as Missouri State closes out the month with four matches in 10 days. The Bears head to Saint Louis on Feb. 18 and play their first matches at Cooper Tennis Complex on Feb. 21 against South Dakota State. MSU finishes out the month by taking a trip to Omaha, Neb., to challenge Creighton and Nebraska-Omaha on Feb. 27-28

The Bears begin March with their second home dual of 2015 against IPFW, before they traverse to Texas for a pair of matches, beginning with a contest at Texas State on March 11 in San Marcos. The next day brings a matchup at Texas-San Antonio while Missouri State opens its conference docket by heading to Wichita State on March 28, before ending the month with a nonconference match at Kansas State on March 29.

The Bears have seven matches scheduled for April, with six coming against conference opponents. The team gets started with contests at Southern Illinois on April 3 and Evansville on April 4.

An April 8 match at UMKC will provide a short break from conference play, before the Bears return to Springfield for their conference home opener on April 11 versus Bradley and another home match against Illinois State on April 12.

A pair of conference road matches in Des Moines, Iowa, against Drake on April 18 and Cedar Falls, Iowa, versus Northern Iowa the following day conclude the regular season. The MVC tournament is scheduled for April 24-26.
