SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - Missouri State softball head coach Holly Hesse continues to be an active leader in several women's organizations. As a member of the Alliance of Women Coaches (The Alliance) Board of Directors and the NCAA Women's Coaches Academy, Hesse will speak at three conferences this summer beginning on Wednesday.

Hesse will speak at two separate NCAA Women's Coaches Academy events at the Denver, Colo., and Atlanta, Ga. She will present on her book "The Diamond of Success" and lead a session on management strategies at both events. The Denver session is this week with the Atlanta event occurring from June 24-28.

Additionally, in June, Hesse will be in Boston, Mass., for The Huddle June 12-14. The Huddle is an annual national event held by The Alliance. She will participate in a coaches panel and present on the principles of coaching excellence while in Boston.

Still an active member of the Springfield chapter of the Women's Intersport Network (WIN), Hesse completed her 25th season at Missouri State earlier this month. This season, she became the second winningest coach in the Valley and recorded her 20th career 20-win season at the helm of the Bears.

During her tenure at Missouri State, Hesse has guided the Bears to two regular season conference titles and five NCAA Tournament appearances. Her 46 wins in the MVC Tournament are tied for the most among Valley coaches.
