Softball Doubleheader Start Times for Saturday Adjusted

April 26, 2013

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - Friday's wet weather in the Springfield area is forcing the Missouri State softball doubleheader against Creighton on Saturday to be pushed back to a 4:00 p.m. start. Once the rain stops, the grounds crew will prepare the field and the pushed back start time should allow ample time to ready the field for play.

The Bears (18-26, 9-10) will play the league-leaders at 4:00 and 6:00 p.m. at Killian Stadium to begin the senior weekend festivities. Sunday's game will proceed as scheduled beginning at 12:00 p.m. with pregame recognition for this year's senior class.

Missouri State will close out the home schedule on Tuesday with the series finale against Wichita State. MSU will attempt to sweep the Shockers after taking both games in Wichita this week. MSU and WSU will square off at 6:00 p.m.
