SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - A forecast for evening showers in Springfield on Wednesday has caused the Missouri State versus Tulsa softball game to be moved ahead to 4:00 p.m. first pitch. The game can still be heard on KBFL 1060 AM or viewed online via Bears All-Access.

The Bears (18-9) will host four home games this week beginning with Wednesday's game against No. 17/18 Tulsa (28-3). MSU will also play a home series against Southern Illinois on Saturday and Sunday with 12:00 p.m. starts on both days. Sunday's game will be televised on a tape delayed basis and the Bears will hold a free post-game clinic on Sunday as well.

Freshman Erin Struemph earned the MVC Newcomer of the Week award on Monday, the fifth weekly honor picked up by the Bears this season. Struemph is second in the MVC in ERA (1.88) and strikeouts (79).
