The Missouri State softball team's game against Iowa State (7-12) on Sunday has been cancelled due to field conditions from the rain that has fallen and the impending weather moving into the area. No makeup date is scheduled.

On Saturday, the Bears (9-5) split a doubleheader against the Cyclones. Natalie Rose fired a complete game four hitter, matching a season-high with 11 strikeouts, in a 4-0 MSU win in game one. In the second game, Caitlin Chapin blasted a three-run home run in the bottom of the first inning, but Iowa State rallied for six runs over the final four innings for a 6-4 win.

Missouri State will now travel to Conway, Ark., for a single game on Wednesday (March 14) at 5:00 p.m. against the Central Arkansas Bears (). Next weekend, the Bears will return to Killian Stadium to open conference play and a three-game set with Illinois State beginning on Friday (March 16) at 5:00 p.m.
