At Missouri State: Background: Roberson comes to Missouri State from East Central College in Union, Mo., where she was a two-year starter at shortstop. Last season, Roberson batted .404 with nine triples, six home runs, and 21 stolen bases. As a team captain, she led East Central to second-place finish in the Midwest Community College Athletic Conference and earned first team all-conference and all-region honors. As a freshman, Roberson hit .343 with three homers and 18 stolen bases to garner second-team all-conference status. As a senior captain at O'Fallon Township High, Roberson led the Panthers to sectional and regional championships. She was named to the All-Southwest Conference First Team, all-region first team, and all-metro second team after batting .288 and leading her team with 16 stolen bases. She batted .271 as a junior with 12 stolen bases to gain first team all-conference and all-region recognition as O'Fallon won sectional and regional championships. Roberson batted .252 as a sophomore to earn second team all-conference honors and .257 as a freshman. As a four-year starter inautility rolefor coach Jan Lugge, Roberson led O'Fallon to 113 victories in her high school career.
