Brisker joined the Bears after spending two seasons at Muscatine Community College in Muscatine, Iowa ... she helped the Cardinals to back-to-back 45-win seasons ... led the nation in strikeouts per game and was second in strikeouts per inning in 2012 and was named an NJCAA Academic All-American ... During her prep career at Wilton High, she racked up 68 wins, 730 strikeouts and 34 career shutouts ... earned back-to-back MVP, first-team all-conference, all-district and all-state honors her junior and senior seasons at WHS, while leading the team to conference titles both years ... named to the state all-tournament team while tossing 13 shutouts and a perfect game as a junior ... was also a second team all-conference selection her sophomore season and earned the coaches appreciation award and most improved player accolades.
