At Missouri State: Dusti Foster returns for her junior year looking to rebound from an injury-plagued 2008 campaign and push for playing time on the Bears' infield.
2008: Foster was limited to just three games for the Bears as a sophomore after suffering a stress fracture in her left leg. 2007: Foster started 47 games at second base for the Bears, batting .154 and posting a .939 fielding percentage. Background: Foster was a four-year starter for Davenport High, where she helped lead the Bulldogs to three state fast-pitch championships. As a senior pitcher, Foster led Davenport to conference and state fast-pitch championships, earning all-state honors and the Small East Pitcher of the Year award. She was a four-time all-conference fast-pitch selection in her career at perennial powerhouse Davenport. Foster played for the Oklahoma Rockets and Tulsa Eagles Gold teams.
Personal: Dusti Dru Foster is the daughter of Jeff and Penny Foster. She was born December 10, 1987, in Cushing, Okla. She is majoring in criminology at Missouri State. |
