Duewel played in 27 games, getting nine starts in her first campaign with the Bears ... she picked up a base hit and scored a run in her first career game against Sam Houston State (February 17) ... drove in her first career run against SEMO (February 25) at the Blues City Classic in Memphis ... had her first multi-hit game at Eastern Illinois on March 22 ... worked a 14-pitch walk against Kansas (March 27) and eventually scored in a three-run inning for the Bears.
