Bears' Cassie Le Named to Capital One Academic All-District Sqaud

Missouri State women's soccer sophomore defender Cassie Le was named to the Capital One Academic All-District VI team, the College Sports Information Directors of America announced Thursday.
Le has started all 17 matches this season for the Bears as an outside back. She has logged nearly 1400 minutes already this season and helped MSU post five shutouts on the year.
Le has also been a recipient of the Missouri Valley Conference Commissioner's Excellence Award in 2012. She has also been named to the Missouri State Athletics Director's Honor Roll during her tenure as a Bear.
To qualify for the Capital One Academic All-District team, a nominee must hold a cumulative 3.30 grade point average, must have reached sophomore athletic and academic standing and must have participated in at least 50 percent of the team's games. Le holds a 3.96 GPA in biology at Missouri State.
The Bears (5-9-3, 2-1-2) conclude the regular season this evening at Plaster Field at 7:00 p.m. versus Illinois State (11-6-0, 5-0-0).
