At Missouri State: Brooke Williams gives the Bears some added spark up front this season.
Background: Williams started all four seasons at forward for head coach Tom Rottjakob at Liberty High. She led the team to conference and district titles all four years. She scored 34 goals and tallied 17 assists while leading her squad to the state championship her senior year. Williams was named to the all-conference, all-district and all-state first team while serving as team captain her final two seasons. As a junior, she was also named first-team All-Western Missouri Class 3. She scored 32 goals for the Blue Jays, lifting the team to the state quarterfinals. As a sophomore, she scored 25 goals to lead the team to the state sectional finals. She earned all-conference and all-district first team, All-Western Missouri Class 2 second team and all-state third team accolades that year. During Williams' freshman year, she tallied 15 goals in helping her team to the state quarterfinals. She was named to the all-district second team for her performance. She also led her club teams to the Kansas State Cup finals each of the last three years, winning the title in 2010.
Personal: Williams is the daughter of Darren and Linda Williams and was born July 29, 1991. She intends to be a nursing major at Missouri State.
