Missouri State women's soccer senior Jessica Roberts spent this past summer helping the less fortunate in Uganda, Africa and coaching youth teams in Guatemala.

At Missouri State: Tomaras had a productive spring offensively and increased her contributions with improved play off the ball.
2013: Tomaras appeared in 12 matches in her second season with the Bears. She took two shots on the year, both in the match at Arkansas State (9/3).
2012: Tomaras made four appearances in her first year as a Bear. She recorded her first assist late in the match against Nebraska-Omaha (8/24) on Katie Davis' goal.
Background: Tomaras played her senior season at Metea Valley where she was a team captain and scored 21 goals to earn first-team all-state honors. The team MVP, Tomaras was also an all-conference and all-section honoree for the regional champs. She played her junior season at Metea Valley High and scored nine goals along with 12 assists as a team captain. She received all-conference honorable mention accolades and helped the team to a regional title. As a freshman, Tomaras led Waubonsie Valley High to a regional title and the sectional finals. She led her club team to the NSR Gold Cup three-straight years and reached the State Cup finals or semifinals in each of her last three years. Her club team won the MRL Premier League and competed in the national league her senior year and were MRL Division I champs her senior and freshman campaigns. Her sophomore season, they won the Disney Showcase.
Personal: Tomaras is the daughter of John and Anna Tomaras and was born November 17, 1993. She will major in speech and language pathology at Missouri State.
