2015: Smith played in 14 matches receiving the starting nod twice early in the season. She played 35 minutes as a starter in the season-opener at Idaho State (8/21). In the home opener, Smith earned a start and played a season-high 42 minutes. She took four shots on the year with one on frame in the match at Omaha (9/22).

2014: Smith played in 11 matches as a freshman, getting the starting nod against SIU Edwardsville on Sept. 21. She recorded her first shot attempt in the season opener at UMKC (8/22). She had season-highs with 54 minutes played and two shots, one on net, against UALR (9/19). Smith had one shot attempt versus Indiana State (10/3). She got eight minutes of playing time in the MVC Tournament semifinal at Illinois State (11/7).

Background: Smith has started and lettered for head coach Melissa Ingwerson at Papillion-La Vista South High for four seasons. She tallied 28 goals and 12 assists in four seasons with the Titans. Smith led PLSHS to a district finalist finish in 2013 and its first-ever state tournament in 2011. While playing for her club team Elite Girls Academy, Smith paced the squad to the Avalanche Invitational U17 title in 2013 and 2012. She also led EGA to the Nebraska State Cup finals in 2012. In 2011, her club team won the Nebraska State Cup and in 2010 they were GSI College Showcase champions.

Personal: Smith is the daughter of Jon and Donna Smith and was born May 28, 1996. She is a communication studies major at Missouri State.
