More than 200 Missouri State student-athletes earn academic distinction
2015: Shadel played in five matches as a reserve. She recorded her only shot of the year at Loyola on October 4. She contributed a season-high 11 minutes of playing time against Oral Roberts (9/9).
2014: Shadel saw her first collegiate action with 11 games played and a start at Arkansas (9/14). She saw action in each of the first seven matches of the season, playing a season-high 28 minutes versus Arkansas State (9/7).
2013: Shadel missed season due to injury.
2012: Shadel redshirted the 2012 season.
Background: Shadel played three seasons at Arbor View High in Las Vegas, Nev., and despite missing her senior season due to injury, she was a team captain. She scored four goals and had an assist for the Aggies as a junior. She earned All-Sunset Region and All-Northwest League honors along with the scholar athlete award. As a sophomore, Shadel scored two goals and led Arbor View to regional and state titles for an Aggies team that went 18-1-1. As a freshman, she led the JV squad with nine goals and three assists and earned the coach’s award. She has been a team captain on her club team all four years and led them to a State Cup title in 2011. Her club team also finished third in the State Cup in 2010. She has also played in tournaments in Denmark and Norway for her club team where the team finished in the top-8 and top-16, respectively. Shadel competed in track for one season at Arbor View High.
Personal: Shadel is the daughter of Craig and Helen Shadel and was born August 4, 1994. She is majoring in exercise and movement science at Missouri State.
