At Missouri State: Angela Parsons tied for the team lead in assists with four last year, and she returns for her senior campaign with the Bears. 2005: In Parsons' 16 starts as a junior, she recorded 18 shots, one game-winning goal, 10 shots on goal and four assists. Parsons' game- winning goal against Western Kentucky with just under four minutes to play in the match, gave the Bears the 2-1 victory. 2004: Parsons recorded 22 shots in her sophomore season with four goals, including the game winner against UALR. Parsons also contributed three assists to the Bears' scoring attack, and received MVC All-Conference Honorable Mention and Scholar-Athlete honors. She was named the Valley Offensive Player of the Week, scoring two goals in the Bears' defeat of UALR. 2003: Parsons appeared in all 21 matches with 17 starts as a midfielder and registered 29 shots, with one game-winning goal against Drury and two assists, totaling four points as a freshman. Background: Parsons enjoyed a stellar four-year career at Broken Arrow High. She led the Lady Tigers to the state semifinals as a junior. She came to Missouri State as a four-time all-conference selection and a two-time all-district pick. Parsons was selected as camp MVP at Missouri State (1996-1998), North Carolina (2001) and Texas A&M (2002). Parsons, a five-time Olympic Development state team member, plays for the Hurricane Futball club team in Tulsa, Okla. Personal: Angela is the daughter of Bill and Nancy Parsons and she was born Nov. 3, 1984.
