2014: Le started 16 of 17 matches played in 2014. She recorded five shots on the season, two on goal. She had a shot attempt in the home opener at Betty and Bobby Allison South Stadium against Utah State (8/24). Le had a season-high two shots at Drake (10/18), both on frame. She played all 90 minutes on six occasions and saw the seventh-most minutes on the team. Her versatility and consistent play earned Le her second-straight academic honors from the Valley and CoSIDA.
2013: Le started all 19 matches at left back for the Bears. Her 1,562 minutes played were the fourth-most on the team. Le helped MSU record five shutouts and a 1.19 goals against average in 2013. She recorded one shot on the season in the match at Loyola (10/5). Her defensive prowess combined with her stellar academic performance led to MVC Scholar-Athlete and Capital One Academic All-District VI first team honors for Le.
2012: Le showed her mettle in her first season as a Bear. She played in 17 matches, getting the starting nod on 13 occasions. Le was a pivotal piece of the Bears’ backline during the home shutout streak, helping MSU record seven clean sheets and a 685 minute shutout streak at home. She also tallied three shots, placing two on frame for a .667 shots on goal percentage, second-best on the team.
Background: Le started and lettered all four years for head coach Jim Pelletier’s Bears. She was an all-conference selection and most valuable player as a senior as a member of the sectional semifinalist team. She added a pair of goals and a pair of assists in 18 games for WBLHS. She started all 16 games as a junior and was named to the all-conference honorable mention squad. Le led her team to a sectional final and earned all-conference honorable mention accolades as a sophomore. Her team was a sectional finalist her freshman season as well. Le earned the Academic Excellence Award all four seasons. Her club team, the St. Croix Soccer Club, was Minnesota State Cup winner each of the last two seasons, reaching the U.S. Club National finals in 2011.
Personal: Le is the daughter of Trung and Melissa Le and was born May 15, 1994. She is a biology major at Missouri State.
