At Missouri State: Kemp will compete for playing time in the Bears' midfield this season.

Background: Kemp was a four-year starter and three-time letter winner for head coach Todd Krey at Lee's Summit West. She received First Team Suburban Mid Six All-Conference honors her first three years at Lee's Summit West High School and helped the team win four straight conference titles. Kemp lead the team in goals her sophomore season. She played competitive club ball for nine years with the Chili Peppers in Independence, Mo.

Personal: Kemp is the daughter of Richard Kemp and Laura Coryell and was born November 14, 1992. She plans to be a pre-dental major at Missouri State University.
