She put her only shot of the season on net against Drake (10/7). The Bears went 2-1 in the three games Caldwell played. 2010: Caldwell saw game action in two home matches, versus UALR (8/27) and UT Martin (8/29). 2009: Caldwell saw playing time off the bench against Oral Roberts (9/13) and SIU Edwardsville (10/25). Background: Caldwell was a three-time letterwinner at Norwalk High after living in Alabama during her freshman year. She was named all-district honorable mention, team captain, Team Midfielder of the Year and won the Tough Girl Award her senior year at Norwalk, leading the Truckers to a 13-2-2 record. She has played for club teams, Cleveland United SC and the Decatur (Ala.) Raptors. Caldwell led both teams to second-place state finishes during her junior and freshman years, respectively. She led Cleveland United to a third-place finish in the 2009 Continental Cup and an undefeated season in the Midwest Regional League. Caldwell also competed in basketball and track during her high school years. Personal: Caldwell is the daughter of David and Tammy Caldwell and was born April 29, 1991. She is majoring in fashion merchandising at MSU. Her brothers, David (Lindenwood) and Clayton (IUPUI), played collegiate soccer.
