At Missouri State: Kellie Jensen returns for her second season with Missouri State and will continue to work on MSU's defensive line. 2007: Jensen played in 18 matches for the Bears with 17 starts. Her defensive play helped the Bears to a 0.81 goals-against average and set a MSU record for fewest saves in a season with 76. Background: Jensen transferred to Missouri State from the University of Nebraska, where she played in 40 matches and started four during her two seasons with the Huskers. As a prepster, Jensen won two state championships at Blue Valley West High in Stilwell, Kan. She was named the 2003 Kansas Gatorade Player of the Year as a sophomore, before missing her junior season with an injury. |
