At Missouri State: Laura Galati will return for her final year where she will look to see more playing time as a midfielder. 2007: Galati played in 14 matches, recording eight shots at the midfield posiiton as a junior. 2006: Galati saw action in all 21 contests and made her only start of the season at Illinois State (10/22). She scored a goal, tallied an assist, and fired 11 shots in her sophomore campaign. Her goal in the second half added insurance in a 2-0 victory over Eastern Illinois (9/17). Galati assisted on the third goal in the Bears' 4-1 win at Tennessee-Martin (9/1). 2005: As a freshman, Galati started six matches and played in 14, recording 11 shots and one assist. Her first career assist was in a conference win against Northern Iowa. Background: Galati, as Ursuline Academy team captain, led her squad to its second consecutive district title in her senior season. She was a two-time first-team all-conference pick, two-time all-metro selection, and second-team all-state choice as a junior. Galati was selected to participate in the Senior St. Louis All-Star game. She led both Ursuline Academy and the Wolfpack Soccer Club to second-place state finishes in her junior season. Personal: Laura is the daughter of Dennis and Lisa Galati and was born Nov. 12, 1986.
