At Missouri State: Jenna Dobkins will solidify the midfield for the Bears in 2009. 2008: Dobkins scored her lone goal of the season in the 3-2 win over Oral Roberts (9/26). She assisted on Kelsey Finders' goal in the Indiana State match (10/31). Dobkins got 10 starts and played in all 19 matches for the Bears. She recorded 10 shots, five of which were on goal. She was a letterwinner for the third year at Missouri State. 2007: As a redshirt sophomore, Dobkins played in 13 matches including one start. She registered one goal in the Bears' win over Murray State (9/12). Dobkins recorded two points and three shots from the midfield position. 2006: Dobkins redshirted the 2006 season because of a knee injury. 2005: Dobkins registered six starts in the 18 matches she played as a freshman, collecting seven shots with one goal against Western Kentucky. She also posted two assists during the season. Background: Dobkins joined the Bears from Marquette High School in Chesterfield, Mo. Dobkins, who started all 74 matches in four seasons as a Mustang, holds the Marquette High career records for goals scored (30), points (82), goals scored in a season (16), goals scored in a game (3, on two occasions) and is second in career assists (22). She was a three-time first-team all-conference selection, three-time all-metro honorable mention pick and all-state honoree in her junior campaign. Dobkins was a member of the Under-18 state cup finalist team in 2005, Under-17 state cup finalist squad in 2004, and Under-15 state cup champions in 2002. Personal: Dobkins is the daughter of V. Olen and Barb Dobkins and was born December 2, 1986. She is a recreation and leisure studies major.
