More than 200 Missouri State student-athletes earn academic distinction

At Missouri State: Chelsea Voet is the only returning keeper and will look to be a leader in net.

2011: Voet spelled All-MVC first teamer Jessica Teahan on two occasions. She played the final 26 minutes in a Bears win over Oral Roberts (9/11), making one save to preserve the shutout. She played the second half at SIUE (10/9) recording two saves and allowing a goal against.

2010: Voet saw action in four matches off the bench. She did not allow a goal in those four appearances and earned victories over UMKC (9/26) and SIU Edwardsville (10/3).

2009: A first-year letterwinner, Voet saw action in a reserve role in three matches during her freshman campaign. She recorded 117:22 in playing time making seven saves and allowing just one goal for a 0.77 goals against average. One of the matches she played in saw her enter in the eighth minute and preserve a shutout of conference foe UNI (9/27).

Background: Voet finished her senior season at Millard North High as the all-time saves leader in school history (358) and holds the single season (135) and single game (19) record for saves. In three seasons as a starter, she owned a 49-10-0 record with 38 shutouts. As a junior, she led the state of Nebraska with a 0.37 goals against average while helping the Mustangs to an 18-1 record and their second state championship in three years. She earned second-team all-state honors her junior and senior seasons and honorable mention accolades as a sophomore in 2007. That season, Voet had 135 saves and a 0.75 GAA while her team made it to the state semifinals. Voet was also team captain for her club team Arsenal Primo for the past four years, leading them to the State Cup each season.

Personal: Voet is the daughter of Perry and Vicki Voet and was born February 6, 1991. Voet plans to be an exercise and movement science major.
