Missouri State Golf Teams Release 2010-11 Schedule
Missouri State golf released its 2010 schedule for the fall season. Each team will compete in five events prior to the competition season in the spring. The only home event at Missouri State this Fall will be the MSU/Payne Stewart Memorial.
The men will play all over the Midwest this fall. They open play at the Fairway Club Invitational in Nebraska City, Neb. on Sept. 13-14. Then, they will travel to the Kansas Invitational in Lawrence, Kan. on Sept 20-21. Following their trip to Kansas, the Bears will compete in the D.A. Weibring Intercollegiate in Normal, Ill. on Oct. 2-3. After three road trips, coach Neil Stafford and his golfers will finish out their fall season in the state of Missouri; first, at the UMKC Intercollegiate on Oct. 18-19 and ending the season at the SIUE Doubletree Intercollegiate on Oct. 25-26.
The women will begin with the MVC Preview in Normal, Ill. on Sept. 11-12. Then, on Sept. 26-28, Missouri State will represent the MVC in the Golfweek Conference Challenge in Vail, Colo. The Bears will then play in the Missouri/Johnie Imes Invitational on Oct. 4-5. Then, the Bears will host the MSU/Payne Stewart Memorial at Highland Springs Golf Course. To wrap up the season, Missouri State will head to Fort Myers, Fla. to compete in the FIU Invitational.
