PRIMM, Nev. - The Missouri State women's golf team shot an impressive 320-310--630 in the first day of the Jackrabbit Invitational hosted by South Dakota State.

The MSU two-round score trails only Oral Roberts (311-307--618), Grand Canyon (309-312--621), and Arkansas State (318-310--628). Sixteen schools are competing in the two-day tournament.

Junior Estefania Acosta carries the low for the Bears into Tuesday's final round after carding 76-79--155, which currently places her in a three-way tie for eighth.

Teammate Ariel Tidwell (84-72--156) is a stroke behind Acosta, and sits in a six-golfer tie for 11th.

Megan Thompson (82-77--159) is in a tie for 23rd and Megan Furnish's 78-82--160 places her in a tie for 25th after Monday's opening rounds.

Caroline Boone shot 87-83--170 and is in 63rd in the 90-golfer field.

Grand Canyon's Charlotte Jaengkit (76-69--145) is currently atop the Jackrabbit Invitational.

The final round is scheduled to begin with an 8:30 a.m. PST shotgun start on Tuesday morning.
