NEW BRAUNFELS, TX - After two rounds of play at Texas State's Jim West Challenge at the Bandit, the Missouri State women's golf team sits in tenth place in the fifteen-school field.

The Bears shot 319-320--639 (+71) over the first eighteen holes on Monday and were led by junior Estefania Acosta's 16-over par. Acosta currently is in a tie for 31st place overall in the 79 golfer field.

Freshman Caroline Boone's first round 73 was the MSU low in the opening 36 holes. Boone is in a tie for 43rd overall at Monday's end.

Rounding out the scoring for Missouri State are Lindsey Eisenreich (82-80--163), Megan Furnish (84-81--165), and Chiara Citterio (86-80--166).

Gonzaga leads all schools after two rounds at 591, 23-over par. Rounding out the top three are Texas State (600, +32) and Arkansas-Little Rock (614, +46).

The final round of play will tee off at 8:15 Tuesday morning. Results and a final recap will follow.
