Women's Golf Still 14th in Dallas

The Missouri State women's golf team shot a better score on a tougher day Saturday (Apr. 6), but is still 14th after 36 holes at the SMU/DAC Invitational in Dallas, Texas. The Bears shot 330 on a warm but windy day, seven better than their opening 337, for a 667 total after two trips around the Blue Course at the Dallas Athletic Club.
Sophomore Megan Thompson shot her second straight 81 to lead MSU and her two-day total of 162 has her tied for 47th place. Freshmen Ariel Tidwell and Lindsey Eisenreich are next for the Bears in 61st and 65th place, respectively. Tidwell has 85-81--166, while Eisenreich has carded 87-83--170. Sophomore Chiara Citterio is 68th after shooting 84--88--172 and senior Emma Clegg has carded 90-85--175 for 75th place.
Oklahoma State leads the 15-team field with 305-295--600, four better than second-place Denver, which has 296-308.
Sunday's final round is scheduled for an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.
