Women's Golf Tied for Lead Entering Final Round in Texas

The Bears share the 18-hole lead with Lamar in the wind-shortened spring opener.

Fall 2012: Competed in two tournaments -- the Johnie Imes and Payne Stewart...Averaged 80.17 in six rounds, three in the 70's...Posted 81-83-79--243 to tie for 78th at the Imes and 83-77-78--238 for 38th at the Stewart.

Background: First team all-state selection her last three seasons at Jefferson High, finishing fourth as a senior season...Qualified for the U.S. Junior Girls and national PGA Junior Championships in 2011, and won the Iowa Section PGA title...Also a two-time all-district player and was the Mississippi Valley Conference Athlete of the Year as a sophomore...Finished sixth overall and help lead the Iowa team to the Girls-Four State title last summer in Sedalia, Missouri...Placed fifth at the Iowa Junior Girls Championship and sixth at the Iowa State Amateur in 2012.
