Missouri State Field Hockey Hosts Central Michigan For Two
 

 

 

The Missouri State field hockey team (6-10, 1-5 Mid-American Conference) will host Central Michigan (4-10, 3-3) for a weekend series match-up.

 

The field hockey team will lead off the full schedule of home Missouri State athletic events, taking on the Chippewas on Saturday, Oct. 25, at 10 a.m. at Plaster Field. The second match will be at noon on Sunday, Oct. 26, at Plaster Field.

 

The Bears are led by junior Melissa Lantz with 16 goals and five assists. Lantz also leads the MAC in goals scored, shots, shots per game, and overall total points with 35 points. She is third with three game-winning goals.

 

Senior Sandy Fulkerson is first in the MAC with seven of the Bears’ nine defensive saves.

 

Senior goalkeeper Jessica Schuster leads the conference with 112 saves, collecting seven saves a game, for a .659 save percentage.
