Game Notes
• The Bears are 59-28-2 all-time vs. the Billikens, and have won three-straight games in the series and nine of the last 10. Against Kent State, the Bears are 4-24-1, and are seeking their first win over the Golden Flashes since 2011. The match-up with KSU opens Missouri State's five-game Mid-American Conference slate.

•  Tuesday night’s game is a Pink Game for breast cancer awareness. The first 50 fans will receive pink Missouri State bracelets, and the Bears will wear pink jerseys during warm-ups and pink socks during the game.

• Sophomore forward Holly Scherer (Belmont, Ontario) had a career-best game against SLU in their last meeting on Oct. 24, 2012. On senior night at Plaster Sports Complex, Scherer (then a freshman) scored four goals to propel Missouri State to a 5-2 victory.

• MSU and Kent State played a thriller in their last meeting, a 4-3 overtime game in Springfield that was won by KSU with 1:02 left in the extra period.

Overtime Goal Sinks Field Hockey Bears Against Kent State
The Missouri State field hockey team (4-10-0 overall, 2-3-0 Mid-American Conference) suffered a 4-3 overtime loss to Kent State on Friday afternoon in one of the most exciting games of Missouri State's 2012 campaign.
