Game Notes
• Missouri State brings a five-game losing streak into their match against the Wolverines, who rank No. 18 in NCAA Division I RPI. Michigan has won seven of the eight meetings between the schools and took the last meeting, 5-2, in 2002.

• The Bears defense has shown marked improvement in 2013, as MSU has allowed three goals per game through their first seven contests, a 32 percent improvement over their average from the first seven games last season.

• Senior goalkeeper Andrea Bain (Victoria, British Columbia) has led the recent defensive charge for the Bears. After a rocky start to the 2013 season in which she posted a 4.86 goals-against average in MSU's first four contests, Bain has dominated in the last three games with a 1.12 GAA and a .833 save percentage.

• The game at Michigan is the last of MSU's season-opening, 8-game road swing. The Bears will play Saint Louis on Oct. 1 (6 p.m.) at Plaster Sports Complex.
