2012 Field Hockey
Served as Missouri State's primary goalkeeper during the 2012 campaign ... Recorded more than 800 minutes in net ... Set a career high with 83 saves ... Ranked 28th in the country and third in the MAC with 5.93 saves per game ... Recorded the fourth-best save percentage in the conference (.664) ... Picked up her second career shutout with a 2-0 blanking of Georgetown on Sept. 8 ... Recorded five saves and held Miami (Ohio) to a single goal to help the Bears move to 2-0 in MAC play ... Defeated Saint Louis twice, holding the Billikens to just four goals in two games to go along with nine saves.
2011 Field Hockey
Took over many of the goalkeeping responsibilities in 2011, starting 12 of the 13 games in which she appeared ... Finished the season with 76 saves and ranked 30th in the nation in saves per game (5.6) ... Also finished the season with one shutout and combined with fellow goalkeeper Katie Mulloy to rank 21st in the nation in saves per game (7.42) ... Mamed the MAC Defensive Player of the Week (Nov. 1) ... Was a force to be reckoned with in the Bears' 2-0 victory over Miami (Ohio) on Oct. 29. The match was Missouri State's first shutout of the season and also secured the most wins in a season for the Bears since 2004 ... Stopped Miami (Ohio) in its tracks with six saves in the match and her first career shutout at Missouri State ... Followed up her superb performance with seven saves in Missouri State's win over Ball State on Oct. 30 ... Earned an All-MAC Academic Honorable mention.
2010 Field Hockey
Split time in the cage with Steph Anderson ... Started seven games, appearing in 12 overall ... Named the MAC Defensive Player of the Week (Sept. 27-Oct. 3) when she picked up a 5-1 win over Saint Louis by making three saves ... Also registered 11 saves that week in a 3-0 loss at Miami (Ohio) ... Came off the bench to earn the win in her first collegiate game, a 7-1 win over Lindenwood (8/28) ... Played the second half against Northwestern, saving seven shots without allowing a goal in 35 minutes ... Made a career-high 15 saves against Kent State (10/31) ... Had double-digit save totals in three contests: vs. Kent State; and twice against Miami (11 saves-10/3; 10 saves-10/24) ... Had a 2-6 record as the keeper ... Fourth in the MAC in save percentage (.697), fifth in saves per game (5.64), sixth in goals against average (3.09) and eighth in saves (62).
In four years at Oak Bay High, Bain started every game in goal for Coach Natasha Craig ... Named the team's captain and Most Valuable Player her junior and senior seasons ... As a senior, she helped lead Oak Bay High to an Island Championship, dethroning 16-time defending champion Cowachain Secondary in the title game decided by a penalty stroke off ... The team was also ranked first in the Lower Island Championships in 2008 and 2009 ... Placed first in the Victoria Region during the 2009 Indoor Provincial Championships and were the consolation round winners in the AAA Provincial High School Championships ... Over the past couple of seasons she has played for the Vancouver Island Regional Team and the B.C. Provincial Team at tournaments such as the Provincial Championships, Junior Nationals, Canada Cup and Senior Nationals.
