Game Overview
The Missouri State Lady Bears (7-4, 0-0 MVC) close the non-conference schedule Sunday afternoon at 2:05 p.m. inside JQH Arena when Coppin State (4-7) comes to town in a return game for MSU's 2010 visit to Baltimore.
   Missouri State defeated Southeast Missouri State 69-55 in its last game to secure a winning non-conference record for a fourth consecutive season.
   The Lady Bears begin the MVC schedule Jan. 3 with a visit to Wichita State at 7:05 p.m.

Series History
Missouri State and CSU have played once before, a 67-61 Lady Bear victory in Baltimore in December 2010. Whitney Edie (5) and Desiree Phillips (1) were the only players on the current roster to score in that game.

Scouting Coppin State
Coppin State is 4-7 overall with victories against Cheyney, Longwood, Lincoln (Pa.) and Robert Morris. The Eagles play at Arkansas on Dec. 28 before coming to Springfield.
   Coppin State averages 65.7 points and allowed 63.2 while shooting 36.3 percent overall, 31.3 percent on 3-pointers and 64.4 percent from the free throw line on the season.
   Kyra Coleman leads the club in scoring at 13.8 per game while Leola Spotwood holds the rebounding lead at 9.0 per contest.
