The Missouri State Lady Bears (12-13, 4-9 MVC) look to recapture the momentum gained on their last homestand this week when they host Southern Illinois at 7:05 p.m. Thursday and Evansville at 7:05 p.m. Saturday at JQH Arena.
Fans are encouraged to wear white to Thursday's game as part of a "White Out" promotion at MSU.
Missouri State has averaged 86.7 points per game in its last three home contests, and has just five games remaining before the MVC Tournament begins March 14 in St. Charles, Mo.
The Lady Bears conclude the regular season March 9 at home against first-place Wichita State, and visit Indiana State and Illinois State March 1 and 3 to round out the schedule. Missouri State sits 2.5 games behind Evansville for the all-important sixth spot in the conference standings that would ensure a bye into the tournament quarterfinals.
MSU leads the all-time series with SIU 42-26, including a 24-11 record in Springfield. The Lady Bears have won their last five home games against the Salukis by an average score of 78.4-61.4.
The Lady Bears lead Evansville 30-10 in the all-time series, including a 17-1 record in Springfield. MSU had won eight straight in the series prior to last month’s loss at UE.
