The Missouri State Lady Bears (12-10, 7-4 MVC) take their five-game winning streak on the road this week for two games, beginning with UNI (11-11, 7-4) at 7 p.m. Friday in a battle for third place in the Missouri Valley Conference standings.
   The Lady Bears then visit Drake (11-11, 5-6) at 2 p.m. on Sunday the 16th in a showdown between two of the league’s top scoring teams.
   Missouri State will finish the regular season with five of its final seven games on the road, with Feb. 21 and 23 as the lone remaining home games on the schedule.
   Feb. 21 against Indiana State is the annual Play4Kay game, while MSU’s seniors will be honored Feb. 23 against Illinois State.

Series Histories
Missouri State owns a 46-22 lead in the series with UNI, though the Panthers are 9-3 in the last 12 meetings. MSU holds a 17-15 lead in Cedar Falls.
  MSU holds a 39-35 series lead over Drake and won seven straight in the series before that streak was snapped in last season in Des Moines, where the Lady Bears are 12-20 against the Bulldogs. MSU has averaged 80.5 points in the last 11 games against Drake.

Scouting UNI
UNI is 11-11 overall and tied with the Lady Bears for third in the MVC with a 7-4 record. Jen Keitel is UNI’s leading scorer at 11.8 points per game as the balanced Panthers have 10 players averaging at least 10.7 minutes per game. More than 44 percent (569/1,289) of UNI’s field goal attempts this season have been 3-pointers.
   As a team, the Panthers average 64.2 points and allow 66.3 while shooting 37.5 percent overall, 27.2 percent on 3-pointers and 72.4 percent from the foul line.

Scouting Drake
Drake is 11-11 overall and 5-6 in MVC play entering its Friday game with Wichita State. Preseason all-MVC selection Kyndal Clark leads the Bulldogs with 17.6 points per game while shooting 42 percent from beyond the arc, and Lizzy Wendell shoots 37 percent from long range and averages 14.4 points.
   As a team, Drake scores 70.4 points and allows 72.5 while shooting 42.3 percent overall, 33.9 on 3-pointers and 67.4 percent from the free throw line.

First Meetings This Season
UNI scored a 68-60 win over the Lady Bears on Jan. 20 at JQH Arena. The Panthers went 13-for-28 from the 3-point line, hitting their 13th trey with 1:35 remaining after Missouri State had closed to 59-58. Bry Snow notched her first career double-double with 16 points and 11 boards.
   Missouri State shot 51.5 percent and scored a season-high 89 points in an 89-66 victory over the Bulldogs on Jan. 18 in Springfield. Bry Snow scored 21 points and Tyonna Snow added 19 on 8-for-9 shooting as the Lady Bears closed the first half on a 14-0 run over the final 6:50.
