She is currently the only MVC player to record multiple 30-point games this season.
Balerio received 2006 MVC Scholar-Athlete Team honorable mention after averaging 8.2 points and 3.3 assists per contest in helping the Lady Bears capture the State Farm MVC Tournament title and 13th NCAA Tournament bid in school history.
A career 81.9 percent free throw shooter, Balerio ranks eighth on MSU’s career free throw percentage list. She also ranks ninth among the Lady Bears’ career leaders in three-point field goals (71) and three-point field goal attempts (240).
Missouri State returns home this evening (Feb. 8) to open a two-game homestand with a 7:05 p.m. contest against Indiana State.
