Williams ended the first half with 12 points on 5-for-5 shooting.
The Lady Bear defense put on the pressure early in the second half, forcing the RiverHawks into quick shots and turnovers on the way to a 51-25 lead on Karly Buer’s three-pointer with 14:12 to play. Hannah Wilkerson’s free throw closed a 9-0 MSU run with the score 57-25 and 11:50 on the clock, and two more throws from the sophomore with 1:53 remaining gave the Lady Bears their largest lead at 69-35.
