One of just two Lady Bear seniors, Kendra Roberts will be called upon to provide veteran leadership on the perimeter for MSU after fully recovering from a knee injury that delayed the start of her 2009-10 season. The Fort Smith, Ark., native should once again play a significant role in the Lady Bears backcourt rotationafter averaging 2.3 points per game as a junior.

Roberts battled back from a July knee injury to log playing time in 20 of the Lady Bears' final 22 contests after beingsidelined forthe first 11 games of the season while recovering from a torn ACL...Saw her first game action as a Lady Bear in MSU's 72-67 win over Bradley (Dec. 31) to open the MVC season; played nine minutes, grabbing three rebounds and recording two steals against the Braves...Scored two points, grabbed four rebounds and recorded a pair of steals in MSU's 88-84 setback at Drake (Jan. 7)...Contributed nine points on 4-of-6 shooting in MSU's win at Creighton (Jan. 9)...Went 4-of-5 from the field and blocked two shots in MSU's 69-65 win over Indiana State (Jan. 16)....Connected on 4-of-4 free throw attempts to tally six points in MSU's first-round WNIT win over Oral Roberts (March 19).

Roberts saw action in 37 games over two seasons at Arkansas, including 23 contests in 2007-08, when she contributed 1.1 points and 0.8 rebounds per outing...Played in 14 games for the Razorbacks as a freshman, averaging 0.6 points and 0.6 boards per game...Played her senior season of high school ball at Fort Smith (Ark.) Northside, averaging 12 points per game to help the Lady Bears advance to the 5A state championship game... Picked up her third 5A West all-conference nod, as well as second-team all-state recognition from the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette as a senior...Was a McDonald's High School All-America nominee and the top-ranked guard from the state of Arkansas in the 2006 class according to Southern Starzz...Tallied 16 points, nine assists, six rebounds and two steals per contest as a junior at Fort Smith Southside...Led the Lady Rebels to consecutive state tournament appearances her sophomore and junior seasons.

Roberts is the daughter of Kendall and Kim Roberts...Has one sister, Ashley...Turns 22over the summer...Plans to pursue a career in real estate.
