Background: A prolific shot-blocker for Eureka High outside St. Louis, Hillyer racked up a trio of first-team all-Suburban West Conference honors during her three years as a starter, including Player of the Year accolades her junior season...Averaged a school-record 20.2 points per game that year to go along with 10 rebounds and 3.4 blocks per contest...Totaled 17.9 points, 9.4 rebounds and 5.0 blocks as a senior...Scored 11 points with 6.2 rebounds and 3.4 blocks as a sophomore, and earned honorable mention all-conference honors her freshman year with 6.9 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.4 blocks per game...Left Eureka High with school records for career rebounds (819), free throws made (427) and blocks (359), season records for points (545), free throws made (164), scoring average (20.2) and blocked shots (137), and the single-game record of 10 blocks...Checked in on ESPN Hoopgurlz as the nation's 50th-ranked post player.
